What It Does

Westlaw Edge is the AI-assisted research tier of Westlaw, the legal research platform from Thomson Reuters. It provides access to US federal and state case law, statutes, regulations, court rules, and administrative materials, plus AI-assisted research, jurisdictional surveys, document analysis, and litigation analytics. It is a feature tier of the Westlaw product, not a standalone vendor.

What We Found

Westlaw Edge is part of Thomson Reuters (see the Thomson Reuters entry). Thomson Reuters launched the Westlaw Edge branding in 2018, and the platform has since folded in CoCounsel AI features in some markets. Capterra lists it at around 4.7 out of 5. Westlaw Edge does not maintain a separate LinkedIn presence; the follower figure on this entry is an apportioned estimate from the parent Westlaw audience (see frontmatter note).
