What It Does
SurePath AI is an enterprise AI-governance and security company, not a legal-tech product. Its SaaS platform gives organisations visibility into employee use of generative AI, enforces policy across public and private models, and controls data access through what it calls a GenAI Access Edge architecture spanning network, app, and data layers. Legal and compliance teams may care about it as an AI-governance control, but it serves the whole enterprise rather than legal workflows.
What We Found
SurePath AI was founded in 2023 by Casey Bleeker and Randy Birdsall. It launched a Discovery Mode offering at AWS re:Invent that surfaces employee use of public AI services, and announced a partnership with Alaska Communications. Its recorded integrations (Amazon Bedrock, Cloudflare, Netskope, Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Microsoft Intune, and others) confirm a security/infrastructure focus rather than a legal-software one.
