What it is

What It Does

Red Marker is an AI marketing-compliance platform that scans advertising and marketing content for legal and brand risk before it goes out. It uses machine learning and natural language processing to flag potential regulatory and compliance issues in documents and on live web pages, aimed at legal and compliance teams reviewing high volumes of marketing material in regulated industries (finance, legal, healthcare). It sits at the review stage of the content-approval workflow rather than in core legal practice.

What We Found

Red Marker was founded in 2013 in Australia and operates in Australia and the US. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaplan and a founding member of the RegTech Association and the Australian Legal Technology Association. In a recent development, content-operations vendor IntelligenceBank announced its acquisition of Red Marker. The product line includes document scanning and a web-page monitoring tool (“Web Reports”).

What We Haven’t Verified

  • Vendor claim of reviewing content “30x faster” than manual review — not independently tested.
  • Current ownership/operating status post-IntelligenceBank acquisition.
  • Pricing — not published.
  • The integrations listed (Workfront, Asana, Word, etc.) are from the vendor’s own integrations page; several are marked planned, not live.
