What it is

What It Does

Lawgic is a document-automation product for estate planning and family law attorneys, now part of EstateWorks. It uses a question-and-answer format: the attorney answers prompts about a client’s situation, and the software drafts the corresponding wills, trusts, and related documents, including a plain-language summary for the client. It is narrow by design β€” a drafting tool, not a full practice management system. Coverage is limited to roughly 12 US states.

Lawgic is listed on Legaltech Hub (as β€œLawgic by EstateWorks”) and the Stanford CodeX TechIndex, and holds trademarks via Lawgic LLC. The vendor states the software saves 5-10 hours per plan. State coverage is the main constraint flagged across reviews. We have not tested the document output or verified the time-savings figure.
