Moonlit
What it is
What It Does
Moonlit is a legal research platform focused on EU and cross-border law. It provides access to case law, legislation, and policy across European jurisdictions, with automated translation and AI-driven search and summarisation, and offers an API and MCP interface for programmatic access to its legal-data layer. It works with legal teams, researchers, and courts.
What We Found
Moonlit was developed for about seven years as an internal innovation project inside Deloitte’s tax advisory practice before spinning out as an independent company in 2024, reported by Artificial Lawyer in August 2024. It is based in Amsterdam and positions itself against the EU legal-data market. We did not find independent review-site ratings or published pricing.
