What We Found
Zapproved was founded in 2008 in Portland, Oregon. In January 2023 it was acquired by Exterro, a Portland-based legal governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform, for an undisclosed amount; the deal was reported by LawSites and Legal IT Insider, and Exterro was reported at the time to be eyeing an IPO. Both companies originated in Portland. Zapproved now operates as part of Exterro.
