What It Does

Ipro Eclipse SE is a desktop, flat-file version of Ipro’s Eclipse document review platform. It runs locally — installed on a computer or drive with a self-contained database rather than a separate SQL back end and DBA — and lets reviewers review, annotate, and produce documents, with administration tools for security, case content, and productions. It supports customisable layouts including dual-monitor setups, and cases can be backed up and moved between machines for use at trial. Ipro is now part of Reveal following the 2023 acquisition.

What We Found

Eclipse SE is the self-contained sibling of the SQL-backed Eclipse platform, aimed at firms wanting in-house litigation support without standing up server infrastructure.
