What It Does

ConvergePoint builds governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software that runs on top of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365. Its products cover policy and procedure management, contract management, conflict-of-interest disclosures, health and safety training, incident tracking, and investigative case management. The aim is to turn an organisation’s existing SharePoint environment into a compliance hub rather than ship a separate standalone platform.

What We Found

ConvergePoint was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in the Houston, Texas area. In June 2025 it was acquired by Ideagen, a GRC software group. Headcount figures vary by source and are low (single digits to around 20), which fits a focused SharePoint add-on vendor; treat the employee range as approximate. LinkedIn shows roughly 9,000 followers as of mid-2026.

This is a compliance/GRC tool aimed at corporate compliance teams and the public sector, not a law-firm practice tool.
