What It Does
TrademarkNow is an AI-powered trademark search, clearance, and watch platform. It uses machine-learning models to analyse phonetics, spelling, meaning, and visual similarity across global trademark registries, ranking potential conflicts by risk. Tools include ExaMatch and NameCheck for rapid screening. The product is now part of Corsearch, which acquired TrademarkNow in August 2020.
What We Found
TrademarkNow was founded in 2012 (originally Helsinki-based, with offices across the US, Ireland, UK, Germany, and Finland) and led by CEO Mikael Kolehmainen. Corsearch — a brand-protection company founded in 1949 — acquired it in August 2020 and now markets TrademarkNow under the Corsearch brand. There is a separate stub on this site, “Trademarknow By Coresearch,” which refers to the same product; the two entries should be merged.
