What it is

What It Does

OneSpan Notary is a remote online notarization (RON) and in-person electronic notarization (IPEN) product. It lets notaries in approved state jurisdictions witness, sign, and seal documents in a video session, combining live electronic signature, secure videoconferencing, identity proofing and credential analysis, eJournaling, session recording, and audit trails. Signer identity is checked via knowledge-based authentication (KBA) and ID verification. It builds on the OneSpan Sign eSignature platform.

It is a product of OneSpan (onespan.com, Nasdaq: OSPN), a security and digital-agreements company formerly known as VASCO Data Security, founded in 1984 with operations centered in Chicago.

Who It’s For

Aimed at organizations with in-house notary departments — for example title, financial-services, and legal teams handling notarized agreements remotely. Less relevant to firms that don’t have notarization in their workflow.
