Blockchain-based digital notarization and identity verification tool. Products: BlockNotary Timestamp (blockchain hash of media files for proof of origin/date/authenticity — document content not exposed), BlockNotary Interview (asynchronous remote video identity verification), and Journal (blockchain-enabled notary journal). Uses Bitcoin or Ethereum blockchain. IMPORTANT: BlockNotary provides blockchain timestamping and evidence preservation — it does NOT replace traditional legal notarization by a commissioned notary public. No evidence that blockchain-backed notarization is legally accepted as equivalent to traditional notarization in any US jurisdiction. Vermont Act 157 (2016) makes blockchain records admissible but doesn’t replace notary requirements. G2: 4.7/5 (3 reviews — statistically meaningless). Cited in academic paper on notarization fraud prevention (IJSRED 2025). GHOST PRODUCT WARNING: No organic press coverage, product updates, or community discussion found since 2017. May be effectively abandoned despite website remaining active.

Real estate attorney has a closing scheduled for Friday but the out-of-state buyer can't fly in to sign — the attorney scrambles to find a notary in the buyer's state, coordinate schedules, overnight documents back and forth, and the closing gets delayed a week because nobody could get in the same room at the same time

Estate planning attorney needs a client's 85-year-old mother to sign a power of attorney and updated will, but she's in a nursing home 200 miles away and can't travel — without remote notarization, someone has to physically go to her or the documents don't get executed
